Summer 2024 school supplies collection
Our successful school supplies collection took place this summer, benefiting 300 Ukrainian students with essential resources to continue their education amidst wartime. Orphaned, displaced and special needs children were delighted to receive our support.
New Jersey Proud / Girlscout Troop 98013 project
Girlscout Brownie Troop 98013 (Alyvia, Alexia, Bianca, Alexia and Catherine) from Lincoln Pak NJ spent a night putting together "Birthday in a Box" boxes for children in Ukraine who are refugees of war. Yuliya Kozlova came to speak to the girls about Ukraine, the war and answered their questions. She shipped the boxes/donations to Ukraine and shared photos with the troop of the children who receive them! The items for the boxes were purchased with cookie booth sale money and also donations from LP residents! They made 20 boxes in total (each included: baking pan with lid, cake box, icing, party hat, candles, plates, napkins, tablecloth, balloons, party blower, small gifts/goody bag and coloring pages). It was a great service project that they will remember always. The girls learned that hard work could make a difference in someone else's life. They make Jersey Proud!
Partnership with Poltava Red Cross
The Poltava region faces a severe humanitarian crisis due to the displacement of thousands, who fled their homes with only their clothing and are currently staying with relatives, host families, or in shelters and apartments. The Poltava Strong Foundation, in partnership with the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, has been providing critical aid since the beginning. As the initial displacement shock subsides, continued assistance remains crucial. Thank you for supporting!
